About Us
The Old Town Foundation is a young and budding charity that has been working hard and striving to achieve these goals, but strength and action comes in Unity and we need your help. The Old Town foundation thrives to build a better, healthier future for all our people in East Africa and the world.
We are an organization that aims to combat poverty, drug abuse, HIV/Aids, lack of education, unemployment and current social and moral affairs that plague our lands. We aim to inculcate and instill a sense of pride to our youth and upcoming young leaders of our nations and give them a vision for a better future. We look to help those single parents, mothers and widows and aim to provide them with the necessary support to allow them to reach a state of independence. We aspire to provide help and support to local businesses to see them from a position of growth to growth. We aim to spread the call of Peace and Submission to all those who wish to hear it.
The Old Town foundation is not just an East African Charity but is a charity that transcend all races, nations and tribes. We also carry out projects and works in the UK, namely the Old town Burial Fund, a scheme to provided financial help to our members who are bereaved and have lost loved ones, whilst also using surplus fund on helping those who have no family members in the Uk. We carry out regular classes and lectures in order to provide knowledge and empathy of our rich cultural history and traditions whilst also raising awareness of the plight of our people.
